about festival of endless gratitude

over the course of the last half a decade, through emails, images, recordings and mutual visits THERE IS NO TROUBLE IN DENMARK has managed to form a strong bond with numerous visual and musical (most often both at once) artists from the hexa-state area of NEW ENGLAND.

when we, with the kind help of STATENS KUNSTRAAD, managed to land our good friend RON SCHNEIDERMAN an artist grant, enabling him to work, stay and play in COPENHAGEN all through may 2009, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try and let the story expand even further.

FESTIVAL OF ENDLESS GRATITUDE is our shot at bringing two groups of artists together for the first time on a larger scale: new englanders and danish, working within the field of visual art and music.

THERE IS NO TROUBLE IN DENMARK in association with KONCERTFORENINGEN HOVEDSTOLEN will host a five-day festival from may 20th until may 24th.

in the day time we'll host an art exhibition, and then in the evenings, from approx. 20 o'clock until midnight, there'll be live music.
